Refund policy
FastNIE offers a money-back guarantee for providing our services FAST and on time.
Offering fast service is dependent upon communication and response times from you, the Client. This ensures that FastNIE can proceed with the many steps and processes required to obtain your NIE or NIF in a timely manner.
Expected Response Times for Urgent VIP Plan
Our Urgent VIP plan requires very tight response times to ensure the ultimate speed in service to obtain your NIE, fast. We require that you, as the Client, will comply with the following:
- Provide all required information and documentation completely, accurately, and clearly within 12 hours of request from FastNIE. We are not responsible for delays due to inaccurate or invalid information provided. Any delays due to inaccurate information will be added to our 7-business day commitment.
- That you possess current, valid, and accurate documentation such as a valid and unexpired passport and other required information. We are not responsible for delays due to invalid or expired documents.
- That you provide reasonable availability to complete virtual signing appointments within 1 day (24 hours) of request from FastNIE. We will make our best effort to accommodate your schedule within reason.
- For minors, provide a valid birth certificate. Non-EU children must have available a certified translation of their birth certificate. Any delays due to translations will be added to our 7-business day commitment.
Urgent VIP service plans commence from the date and time of submission of your information until 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time of the final day in the committed period (7 business days). Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. Additional exceptions such as holidays may extend the timeline as outlined in the corresponding sections of this policy.
Expected Response Times for Lightning Plans
Our Lightning plans require tight response times to ensure fast delivery of your NIE. We require that you, as the Client, will comply with the following:
- Provide all required information and documentation completely, accurately, and clearly within 1 day (24 hours) of request from FastNIE. We are not responsible for delays due to inaccurate or invalid information provided.
- That you possess current, valid, and accurate documentation such as a valid and unexpired passport and other required information. We are not responsible for delays due to invalid or expired documents.
- That you provide reasonable availability to complete virtual signing appointments within 1 day (24 hours) of request from FastNIE.
Lightning service plans commence from the date and time of order until 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time of the final day in the committed period (14 days). For example, a Lightning NIE plan order placed on 10th of January at 3pm PST must be delivered by 24th of January at 11:59pm. Additional exceptions such as holidays may extend the timeline as outlined in the corresponding sections of this policy.
Expected Response Times for Blaze Plans & Business NIF Plans
Our Blaze Plan and Business NIF Plan services offer additional leeway for response times. We require that you, as the Client will comply with the following:
- Provide all required information and documentation completely, accurately, and clearly within 3 days (72 hours) of request from FastNIE. We are not responsible for delays due to inaccurate or invalid information provided.
- That you possess current, valid, and accurate documentation such as a valid and unexpired passport and other required information. We are not responsible for delays due to invalid or expired documents.
- That you provide reasonable availability to complete virtual signing appointments within 3 days (72 hours) of request from FastNIE.
Blaze service plans commence from the date and time of order until 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time of the final day in the committed period (30 days). For example, a Blaze NIE plan order placed on 1st of May at 3pm PST must be delivered by 31st of May at 11:59pm. Additional exceptions such as holidays may extend the timeline as outlined in the corresponding sections of this policy.
Holiday Exceptions
FastNIE's services depend on external agencies and providers who may observe local and national holidays, which may impact the timeliness of completion. Our Services utilize virtual notary services located in New York, New York, USA. Our Services also utilize representatives in Malaga, Spain.
Official local and nationally observed holidays will result in the corresponding additional time of our Service guarantee. For example, if two observed holidays are covered in the period from order to completion, two full days (48 hours) will be added to the Service timelines stated further above.
Spain NIE and NIF offices are closed during the period between 25 December and 1 January. This period is excepted from our completion guarantee in the same manner as holidays stated above.

Carrier Delays
FastNIE Services depend on internationally shipped documents. Occasionally, weather or exceptional circumstances may cause delays by the shipping carrier.
In the case that there is a carrier delay that causes an additional calendar day delay from the expected shipment delivery, the committed timelines of FastNIE services will also be extended by the same corresponding number of days. For example, a weather delay causing delivery to extend from a Tuesday date to a Wednesday date will add 24 hours to FastNIE's service timelines.
In cases of carrier delays, FastNIE will provide the Client with proof of delay from the carrier's tracking data.
Money-Back Guarantee
FastNIE is pleased to offer committed service timelines to obtain your NIE or NIF fast! Should the unfortunate case arrive that we are unable to provide the Service within the expected timeline, and if all commitments from you as the Client have been fulfilled, we will offer the following refund schedule:
- For Urgent VIP plan services, we will automatically refund the full difference between the Urgent VIP plan and Lightning plan if we are unable to obtain your NIE within the commitments of the Urgent VIP plan, but we are able to obtain it within the commitments of the Lightning plan.
- For Lightning plan services, we will automatically refund the full difference between Lightning and Blaze plan services if we are unable to obtain your NIE within the commitments of our Lightning plan service, but we are able to obtain it within the commitments of our Blaze plan service.
- For all plan Services, we will automatically refund the full order amount if we are unable to obtain your NIE within the commitments of our Blaze plan service, or the NIF within the commitment of our Business NIF plan service.
Definition of NIE and NIF Delivery
For purposes of these timeline commitments, we define delivery as the digital sending, by email, of the scanned documents containing your NIE and/or NIF numbers.
